A woman in her 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man who was found fatally stabbed in his home.

Details of the Incident

The body of William McNicholl, who was 63 and known as Billy, was discovered at the property in Hawthorn Drive, Ipswich, on 1 January. A post-mortem examination revealed that the primary cause of death was a single stab wound, along with head injuries.

Police Investigation

Suffolk Police confirmed that the woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. It was reported that the last sighting of Mr. McNicholl, who lived alone, was on 23 December.
