Police Scotland has expanded the search for missing sisters, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, to the coast at New Harbour. The sisters, who are part of a set of triplets, were last seen in Aberdeen's Market Street at Victoria Bridge around 02:12 on Tuesday.
A land search is scheduled to take place in the Boat House area near Duthie Park on Saturday. The family of Eliza and Henrietta, originally from Hungary but residing in Aberdeen, has urged against spreading unfounded rumors about the sisters' disappearance.
The sisters' brother, Jozsef, mentioned that the sisters seemed "fine" prior to their disappearance. Their sister, Edit Huszti, noted that they were sociable and close, often enjoying activities together at home. Eliza, in particular, had a passion for cooking.
Eliza and Henrietta, both described as white with slim builds and long brown hair, moved to Scotland seven years ago. The close-knit family is puzzled by the sisters' disappearance, as it is out of character for them to be out in the early hours of the morning.
Police Scotland has been conducting searches along the River Dee and Victoria Bridge, utilizing divers, search dogs, and aerial support. Businesses in the Torry area are urged to review CCTV footage from the early hours of Tuesday for any information. Police in Hungary are assisting in the investigation.
The search for Eliza and Henrietta Huszti continues, with authorities and family members hoping for their safe return. The community's support and vigilance are crucial in resolving this mysterious disappearance.
